Dear friends:
+ Goodbye to Ms. Jean Tong
Everybody at St. Therese’s knows her. She has been with us for over eight years and has become a familiar presence at the rectory.
While she moves on to a different job, we feel the need to thank her for her services, honesty and dedication. We wish her good luck with her new Restaurant. We shall miss you, Jean!

+ A Retreat for Busy People of the Loop!
St. Peter’s in the Loop offers a “Lenten Pilgrimage “ from February 25 to April 8
It consists of:
- 30 minutes each week with your spiritual director
- 30 minutes of personal prayer on your own each day of Lent
It represents an invitation to journey with God in the desert!
The early Christians drew on the experience of their ancestors in desert to shape their experience of Lent. The 40 days of Lent became a deliberate time of penance and fasting to rediscover the God who’s desires led them into new life in the risen Christ.
In the season of Lent the Church invites us to go out into the desert anew to rediscover God’s desire for us to know and live in God’s compassion and forgiveness.
Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Registration applications are in the lobby of St. Peter Church.
Call Fr. Paul Gallagher at 312.628.1252 for more information
