Dear friends,

+ Chinatown Summer Fair:

“THANK YOU” for all your efforts and hard work that went into this year's Chinatown Summer Fair.

We made a good profit, but besides the money it was great to see so many new people and old friends working together.  I will have the financial report with all the numbers next week.

We gave for granted the “Good Weather” we enjoyed: I take it as a special blessing of God’s and sign love for this Parish that should spurn us to give our level best. I asked some Nuns in Italy, good friends of mine, to offer prayers for this intention: it seems that women are very powerful also with God.

Also we were able to publicize St. Therese to the Chinatown community to the many tourists who visited the Fair.  Many stepped inside the church where Fr. Michael gave four “Guided Tours”. Debbie Annoreno welcomed them enthusiastically when Father was not around.
Visitors were given copies of the Church Bulletin together with the “ Bookmark” with photo of the Chinese Madonna displayed in the Church vestibule. Hopefully some will join our St. Therese family.

Everyone is invite to an APPRECIATION  LUNCHEON,  this Sunday, July 27 at 11:30am in the church hall. Thanks again, George Lee
