Dear friends,

+ Month of October
In this month of October, the month of missions and of the rosary; many faithful and many Christian communities offer, during this month, the holy rosary for missionaries and for their work of evangelization.  Prayer is the first missionary duty of each one of us. It is first of all through prayer that the way for the Gospel is prepared; it is through prayer that hearts are opened to the mystery of God to receive his Word of salvation.

+ St. Therese’s parents are declared saints:
In Lisieux, France, Louis Martin and Zélie Guérin have been beatified on Oct.19th, World Mission Sunday.Through their prayer and their evangelical witness St. Thérèse’s parents accompanied and shared the journey of their daughter St. Therese

+ CCD:
In this issue you will find a letter of appreciation for the comment and suggestions regarding our CCD Program Survey. The new four classrooms were made possible with the generous help of the Xaverians and of a parishioner who prefers to remain anonymous. May God bless you.

+ New school-board Administration:
On Nov. 13th the school-Board met at the church basement for the election of new officers: President: Sevila Yee-Schiml, Co-Vice Presidents:   Pamela Der and May Gohres. Co-Secretary:  MJ Tam and Kalina Pon. We wish to congratulate them and at the same time express our gratitude to Ms. Ellen Andreacchi, for her dedication and skilfull leadership during her turn as President.
